Terrifying Trains

You should know by now that I'm a pretty brave dog, there's not much that scares me but today I was terrified. Turns out those big noisy things that rattle past the garden every few minutes are called trains and the HBs actually get on them. Today my HBs took me on board with them. It was the most terrifying experience of my life and I'm ashamed to say that I shook and trembled the whole time and the odd bit of smell escaped from my bottom too.

The speed of the train was too much; things flew past the window so quick I had no idea what they even were and when another train came the other way it sounded like an explosion. It was horrible. The HBs we're all stroking me and trying to soothe me with gravy bones but I felt quite disturbed by the whole thing. It was okay getting off and there were lots of busy smells and things when we got there but there was no off lead and we all had to get back on the horrible noisy thing again to get home.

I've never been so pleased to see my lovely old bed. I've not left it since.
